Advantages in the application of dispersants
¡¡Hits£º588¡¡AddTime£º2023/7/19 11:09:28
Firstly, dispersants can stabilize the dispersed pigment dispersion, adjust the mobility of pigment molecules, not only shorten the dispersion time, but also improve its glossiness. They also contribute greatly to the coloring and covering power!
Secondly, in terms of improving glossiness, on the one hand, it can increase the gloss of the leveling effect, mainly depending on the scattering of light by the coating surface, and can greatly prevent the occurrence of floating colors and blooming.
It should be noted that reducing flocculation is the same, but the finer the particle surface energy, the higher the adsorption strength of the dispersant. However, dispersants with too high adsorption strength may cause adverse effects on the film performance.
What are the characteristics or requirements of a qualified dispersant?
1) Good dispersion performance, preventing mutual aggregation between filler particles;
2) Appropriate compatibility with resins and fillers; Good thermal stability;
3) Good flowability during forming and processing; Does not cause color drift;
4) Does not affect the performance of the product; Non toxic and affordable.
There are two functions of dispersants:
Firstly, accelerate the rate of "agglomeration" depolymerization and shorten the dispersion time; The second is to delay the time for particles to reunite again and maintain the particles in a dispersed state for a long time.
Dispersant NNO is a high-quality dispersant. It can not only meet the above four conditions, but also can be widely used as dispersant in Disperse dye, reduction fuels, Reactive dye, acid dyes and leather dyes, with excellent grinding effect, solubilization and dispersion; It can also be used as a dispersant for textile printing and dyeing, wettable pesticides, papermaking dispersants, electroplating additives, water-soluble coatings, pigment dispersants, water treatment agents, carbon black dispersants, etc. Dispersant NNO is mainly used in industry for Vat dye suspension pad dyeing, leuco acid dyeing, disperse and soluble Vat dye dyeing, etc. It can also be used for dyeing silk/wool interwoven fabrics to ensure that there is no coloring on the silk. The dispersant NNO is mainly used in the dye industry as a dispersant aid in dispersion and lake manufacturing, a rubber lotion stability, and a tanning aid for leather.
Dispersants are additives that can improve the dispersion performance of solid or liquid materials. When grinding solid dyes, adding dispersants helps to crush particles and prevent the aggregation of broken particles, thereby maintaining the stability of the dispersion. The oil-based liquid that is insoluble in water can be dispersed into very small liquid beads under the stirring of high shear force. After the stirring is stopped, it will soon delaminate under the action of interfacial tension. After the dispersant is added and stirred, it can form a stable Emulsion. Its main function is to reduce the interfacial tension between liquid liquid and solid liquid. Therefore, dispersants are also surfactants. The types include anionic, cationic, non ionic, amphoteric, and polymer types. Anionic type is more commonly used.
