Application of emulsifier tween T-80
The emulsifier tween T-80 has excellent emulsifying, dispersing and wetting properties. In food industry, it is used as emulsifier and dispersant of ice cream, bread, cake, candy, etc. and turbidity agent of cool drink. 1% ¡« 0.5% in order to prevent splashing and aging of cream food, improve quality, luster, taste and softness. Especially for cream chocolate toffee, it has obvious anti frosting effect. It can be used alone or in combination with other food emulsifiers such as glyceride and sucrose ester. It is also widely used as solubilizer in cosmetics, textile and pharmaceutical industries. It is also widely used as emulsifier, stabilizer, lubricant, softener and antistatic agent in textile, paint, pesticide, printing, petroleum and other industries.

Stability and storage conditions of emulsifier tween T-80

Peroxide, heavy metal ions, temperature rise, light irradiation, water solution self oxidation accelerated, polyoxyethylene chain fracture, and hydrolysis to produce fatty acids. The water solution of emulsifier tween T-80 is quite stable at pH 3-7.6, and the hydrolysis rate is low. Tween should be stored in a closed container in a cool and dry place away from light.
